Talia Walters

Communications Intern

Talia joined the Innovation Lab in 2017 after she had heard about the opportunity from her debate coach. Her (useful) background is in communication and public education, and she’s been working on debating and public speaking for 6 years now. She’s originally from Ohio but moved to Los Angeles after committing to USC’s undergraduate class of 2020. While only with the innovation lab for a few months, she’s worked on a few production projects related to the Civic Media Fellowship program and an Augmented City project. With a double major (Philosophy, Politics, and Law and French), minor (Arabic), debate responsibilities, and two jobs, Talia doesn’t have a whole lot of free time, but when she does, you can find her napping and watching Netflix.
